The 2019 Team

The line-up for 2019 has been found! Once again this year the Europamobil brings together 20 students from 12 European countries, who will gather in Genshagen Castle from 2-27 September to visit 11 schools in the region of Brandenburg. Here they already introduce themselves:

Agathe Dijoud from France

Hello! I am Agathe, I am French and I study Politics and International Relations in France and the United Kingdom. I like traveling and exploring new places, especially where the landscape is breath-taking. I am really looking forward to participate in Europamobil, to meet amazing people and show pupils more about the European Union. That is the perfect way to end the summer!

Agnieszka Karolak from Poland

My name is Agnieszka and I come from Warsaw, Poland. This summer I will graduate from the University of Warsaw with an MA in Applied Linguistics. I work as an English and German teacher at a language school in Warsaw, where I teach different age groups. My greatest hobby is learning foreign languages (I would love to be able to speak at least 5 foreign languages one day!). Apart from that, I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading books and doing sports. I decided to take part in Europamobil because I think it is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and to spread knowledge about one of the most international organizations – the European Union.

Robin Schultz from Germany

As a passionate pro-European wanting to take part in Europamobil was an easy choice for me. Is there a better way to pass my enthusiasm for Europe around to other young Europeans, teaching pupils about the – sometimes rather dauntingly complex – construct of the EU as well as giving them an understanding about the benefits and merits that come with a strong and united Europe? During my current master degree studies in Thuringia at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, I have been actively supporting the European cause by being engaged in pro-European organizations. After finishing my academic training I look forward to work in the area of public administration.

An-Minh Dang from Belgium

Hi, I am An-Minh from Belgium. I studied European and global politics, in Maastricht, Liege and York – so I am quite used to be in an international environment! My friends tell me I am an art nerd, which I totally assume. I am always happy to give and take music, cinema, books or podcast recommendations. I enjoy having serious (and not so serious) discussions about the challenges of the world (and how to resolve them), Europe, politics, sport, food, etc., or rant about how Belgian politics is complicated, usually around a glass of beer (or more). I have gained a lot from the European Union and by encountering people from multicultural horizons (I am myself from a Vietnamese background), and I hope to contribute to this European project, little by little, as much as I can!

Alicia Langfeld from Germany/Belgium

I am Alicia, I am 21 years old and half German half Belgian. For the last two years I have been studying in France but this summer I will move to Berlin to continue my studies in political science. I like discovering new places and teaching myself languages. At the moment I am learning Swedish and Italian which I hope to practice with my Europamobil teammates in September. In addition to travelling and making friends from all over the world, I enjoy sports, especially long distance running. I am always motivated to accept new challenges but I also appreciate calm and cozy moments such as sharing delicious vegan meals with my friends. I am looking forward to meet the other participants of the Europamobil and to share our interest in politics and the European Union. I am sure we will have a great time together.

Cătălina Vrabie from Romania

I am Cătălina, a contemporary history graduate, who is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in International Communication. I am particularly interested in intercultural communication and event management and would like to build a career along these lines. I find myself at ease in multicultural settings and I highly enjoy experiencing different cultures and meeting people from all across the world. Having participated by now in two exchange semesters abroad as part of the Erasmus+ programme, I see myself as part of the Erasmus generation. Moreover, I am a strong supporter of the European project and cannot wait to share my enthusiasm with other people. I am crazily excited and grateful about taking part in the Europamobil project – I look forward to bringing my contribution on informing young people about the EU!

Rhys Nugent from UK/Ireland

Shwmai pawb! My name is Rhys, I am from Wales and I am a proud 25 year-old global and European citizen. I adore languages and having graduated with a BA in Spanish and Italian, I have spent the last two years teaching English in Germany whilst learning German. I spend a lot of my free time assisting with the organisation of Model European Union conferences, but most of the time I can be found volunteering at care homes in my local community. Apart from being too obsessed with cats for my own good, I consider myself an easy-going guy who loves live-music, art, hiking, meeting new people and trying out new things. I am passionate about climate justice, social justice, education and youth engagement and it is these last two points which inspired me to apply for Europamobil 2019. :) I cannot wait to get started!

Chiara Liguori from Italy

My name is Chiara, I am 19, I come from a small town near Naples but I am currently living in Milan to study Languages for Diplomacy. I am into everything related to art, I love travelling and being an active European citizen. It is a privilege for me to be part of Europamobil team 2019!

Dorothee Rilling from Germany

Hello everybody, I am Dorothee from Germany, 21 years old and currently a student of political science and Jewish studies in Heidelberg. I love playing the cello, learning new languages, having long discussions about anything and everything and being outside in the nature.
Being involved in the field of political education already for several years, I am happy to have the chance to participate in the amazing project of Europamobil this summer. I am looking forward to an intense September, rich of new experiences, diverse perspectives on Europe and a lot of fun in Genshagen!

Elena Vallier from France/Germany

Hello! My name is Elena and I am 20 years old. I am Franco-German and grew up in a village in France close to the German border. That is why while growing up I gained a unique insight into two different cultures which both forged my personality. Curious by nature, I soon wanted to discover new places, but above all, new people and their cultures. Thanks to my travels and experiences, especially my voluntary service in Paraguay (2017/2018), I had the chance to take an external view at the European Union which plays an important role in my life and is very precious to me, even if it is not perfect. I then realized that I wanted to understand more precisely the functioning of the world’s systems and societies and therefore chose to study social and political sciences in Bordeaux (France) and Stuttgart (Germany). A nature lover, I try as I can to contribute to the protection of the environment and to raise awareness on the climate disruption issue.

Eveliina Torkkeli from Finland

I am Eveliina, I study Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick in England. I am from Finland, but I have travelled all over Europe participating in different Erasmus+-projects. For instance, in 2017 I participated in the European Voluntary Service in Grenoble, France. I am enthusiastic about the European Union policy-making and thus ecstatic about the Europamobil project and the experience I will gain!

Tornike Kikishvili from Georgia

I am Tornike from Georgia and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Currently, I am a first-year graduate student at the Willy-Brandt-School of Public Policy in Erfurt. My specializations are European Public Policy and International Affairs, International Cooperation and Development. I have been working as a trainer in the public and private sector for years. In 2015, I became a founder and CEO of the NGO „Youth for Community Development” which focuses on youth empowerment, civic education and elections. I like working with youths and I am looking forward to benefiting the aims of Europamobil 2019.

Lynn Krämer from Germany

My name is Lynn, I am from Berlin and I currently study social sciences in France and Germany. Besides learning and speaking new languages, I play field hockey, soccer, and I love skiing. Europamobil is a great opportunity for me to discuss European politics and history with young students, but also to experience the work with them in school. I am probably going to become a teacher for politics and languages, so I hope to gain some experience through our workshops in Brandenburg!

Inês Moura from Portugal

Hello! I am Inês and I am 21 years old. Being a Portuguese myself, I always have been taught to help everyone around me without getting anything in return. That type of education helped me become more pro-active in my community and participate in a lot of different projects. I believe that Europamobil will help me expand my knowledge and barriers as I will be in a project that is not what I am used to. It is a new challenge for me but I cannot wait for September!

Kaja Sklepič from Slovenia

Hi! My name is Kaja, I am 21 years old and I study translation and interpreting at the University of Graz in Austria. I come from Slovenia, a small country in Europe which is known for its natural diversity and quite unique language (we still actively use the dual grammatical number). I would describe myself as an open-minded and curious person. In my free time I like to read, travel, listen to music on my record player, learn new languages or spend time socializing with my friends. Since starting university I became increasingly interested in political and cultural issues and I try to actively engage with those kinds of content; I believe Europamobil will teach me a lot of new things and will give me the ability to teach others as well.

Elisa Eveilleau from France

I am Elisa! I am from France and I will finish a bachelor of European Studies in Germany this summer. More than French, I am a European citizen. Since a long time I have a particular interest in Europe, its history, its challenges and its functioning. But it was increasingly while living abroad, currently in Germany but previously in Croatia and Finland, that I became aware of the importance of raising awareness of Europe among young people and children; and that is why I am taking part in the Europamobil project. After those experiences abroad, I now have intercultural skills such as communication in different languages and knowledge of different ways of living and being in Europe, which I will try to apply during this project.

Kamil Krzyszczyk from Poland

My name is Kamil. I am 20 years old and I come from northern Poland. I study economics at SGH Warsaw School of Economics and hope to become a diplomat or politician one day. I volunteer at many institutions and help with carrying out projects both at my university and outside. I work as a tour guide at the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo. During my free time I love to travel and learn languages.

Juliana Reinicke from Germany/France

Hello, my name is Juli, I am half German, half French and I grew up in Israel. I have spent most of my life in an international environment and love to discover new and unknown (at least to me) countries and cultures. It is important to me to spend time with young people. Therefore, I have been working in summer camps for several years now where I have enjoyed great moments every time. I am currently studying political science in Berlin which opens new doors to deal with contemporary questions and arouses my interest in European issues. I am really fond of the concept of Europamobil and I consider it as an opportunity for young pupils to take a critical look at Europe.

Victoire de Marans from France

Bonjour! My name is Victoire, I am 22 years old and I was born in Marseille in the South of France. I did my bachelor in European Studies and German in Nantes before going to Munich for my Erasmus year. Then, I moved to Maastricht in the Netherlands for my Master. I really enjoy travelling and exchanging with people from other countries! My hobbies also include reading, cooking and watching movies.

Vincent Lohkamp from Germany

Hi! My name is Vincent and I am from Germany. I am 21 years old and I study philosophy and political science at the University of Greifswald. Most people describe me as a relaxed bear and more than once I was asked if somebody could record my laugh. I like to keep my life simple and I only own a pot for cooking.
