18 May - 20 May 2026

The rapid development of AI technologies is fundamentally changing our society and cultures. Questions about shaping ethical and human-centered technological development are particularly urgent in the field of education: What general conditions do educational processes need in the age of digital transformation? Can, should, or must AI technologies be used in educational contexts, and if so, how should they be designed, and what guidelines and regulations have to be established and implemented? Which content and cultural techniques must continue to be conveyed in order to reliably manage and control AI technologies? Which new skills and competences must education impart to ensure the self-determined and responsible use of AI technologies? And what role do culture, art, and cultural education play in this context?

The discussions will result in educational policy guidelines for the use and application of AI in educational contexts, with a particular focus on cultural techniques. These will be presented and discussed publicly after the event.
